Let’s revert to the third person, shall we?

Drew Anderson is a Brooklyn-based comedian and writer with experience across social, brand, and content development.  In the last few years, he has contributed writing for the popular party game, Cards Against Humanity, episodes of the Story Pirates podcast, and social content for Reductress, McSweeneys, NPR and The New Yorker. Currently, he is co-writing the original episodic podcast UNDERDOGS about a group of high school theater kids for Audible network.

His comedy pilot, SALEM, which he co-wrote with Julia Shiplett, was named in Out in Hollywood’s inaugural Out Loud list as one of the best unproduced pilots by queer writers.

As a performer, Drew debuted his solo hour, READY FOR BED, in 2019 at the Off-Broadway Ars Nova theater

Drew recently wrapped shooting the short film, AC UNIT which he co-wrote and starred in with Hilton Dresden. The film was awarded the Frameline Completion Fund grant and debuted at the Frameline Film Festival in San Francisco this past summer. It has also screened at Seattle Queer Film Festival, Vancouver Queer Film Festival, Rooftop Films, Oslo/Fusion, and at NewFest.

He is currently open to freelance and full-time opportunities.
